This is Book II of The Stage series. Please make sure to read Book I, Cuatro De Mayo, first! After a standout college football career as an overachieving free safety and with graduation looming, academic whiz kid Walter Kross is waxing nostalgic about his days at Virginia’s tradition-rich Franklin & Victoria. But the brash DerMont counsels his preppy pal that contentment is not found by following the herd.
After hearing an inspirational speech at an awards ceremony for top graduating F&V seniors, Walt is inspired to throw caution to the wind and pass on the plum consulting gig. But a bizarre, very public interaction with a visiting professor at this same reception unwittingly turns upside down the lives of the aforementioned trio.
